The Cluster for Logistics Luxembourg - C4L and the Luxembourg Centre for Logistics & Supply Chain Management (LCL) invited to their annual conference at the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce. This year's title: Supply Chain Legislation, is it a Game Changer or just another Box to tick? With a special focus on the CSDDD, the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive.

Benny Mantin, Director of the LCL, opened the conference, followed by a keynote speech by Dirk Zetzsche, Professor at the University of Luxembourg, to set the context by explaining the CSDDD and what it may entail.

All five panelists gave a short presentation to introduce a relevant topic and their perspective for the panel discussion: Supply Chain Due Diligence - Practical Implications. Many thanks for the interactive and relevant discussion by:

  • Basak Baglayan, Ministry of the Economy, LuxPCN
  • Gabriele Bornemann, ESG Powerhouse
  • Marco Feiten, Scrioo
  • Philipp Regert, B Medical Systems

The evening ended with a call to action: Sabrina Kohn from the House of Sustainability presented the National Pact Business and Human Rights, followed by a testimonial from the signatory company Gradel, presented by Udo Winkler. Daniel Kohl, Director of the Cluster for Logistics, concluded the conference.

Many thanks to all the speakers, panelists and participants for the insightful presentations and discussions and to the LCL and the University of Luxembourg for the good collaboration.
